RJM is a traveling community jewelry mining and recycling project created by Ethical Metalsmiths. This project asks communities to donate broken and unwanted jewelry for jewelers and jewelry students to remake. Exhibitions of the recycled jewelry serve to educate on mining practices and material supply chains, asking jewelry consumers and makers to buy ethically sourced and environmentally conscious materials.
