I am ever so excited to announce that I will be teaching a five-day workshop at Eureka Springs School of Art in Eureka Springs, Arkansas! From the Outside In: Hinged Metal Containers will focus on the preparation and process of fabricating small, hinged containers. Explore mechanisms of hinged containers like boxes and lockets while honing your skills in measuring, fitting and soldering small components. The contents of these various containers, possibilities of what yours might hold and how the exterior encourages further investigation will be discussed.

The jewelry and metalsmithing students at East Carolina University in North Carolina plan and host an annual symposium featuring a weekend packed with lectures and demonstrations. A number of exhibitions are always on view throughout the campus and downtown. Happily, two brooches of mine will be on view at the Greenville Museum of Art as part of the show Obsession.
